- Mark the two drilling holes at the wall.
- Drill the holes with a 4" drill.
- Screw the wall attachment to the wall.
Unevenness in the wall of up to cm can be compensated with the provided big washers.
4.2 Fixation of the switch
a.
a. Fix the switch to the sheet plate (in this example on the right side). Insert the actuator so that
its fixation angle bracket faces to the back (to the shaft wall).
b. Put the ladder into its storage position and fix the actuator with the double-sided adhesive
tape to the rung.
c. Take the ladder carefully off its support, so that the actuator remains glued to the rung. Drill
two holes with the delivered drill (3,5mm) from below into the rung (through the fixation holes of
the actuator). Now the actuator can be fastened safely with the two tapping screws.
The sheet plate for the switch
is mounted on the far side of
the landing door, depending on
the position where the ladder is
installed.
