automatically. Depending on the condition of the battery, the discharging process can take several hours.
After termination of the charging process automatic switch over to trickle charging is made.
INSERTION OF A 9 VOLT BLOCK
The LED for the 9 Volt block will light up, if the battery is inserted correctly. (Always insert batteries with
correct direction of poles according to the symbols in the charging box!) The 9 Volt block is charged with a
constant charging current. Pay attention to the charging time (cf. table of charging times). After charge, the
9 V block has to be taken out. (Danger of overcharging!). A discharge of the 9 Volt block is not possible.
MAINTENANCE
Do not practise any cleaning or maintenance work, if your charger is plugged in. In order to guarantee a
perfect function of the charger keep the contacts inside the charging boxes free of dirt. Do not plug in the
charger in case of damaged cabinet or power cable. Never open the charger. Chargers in need of repair
must be taken to authorized dealers.
