SETTING THE LOCAL TIME AT DESTINATION
1. Unscrew the water-resistant crown counterclock-
wise.
2. Pull the crown out to position 2. Turn the crown
forwards or backwards to adjust the hour hand E
to local time at destination. If the timezone differ-
ence entails a date change, this occurs automatically
when the crown is rotated.
3. Upon returning home, proceed in the same way: pull
the crown out to position 2 and then turn the crown
forwards or backwards to adjust the hour hand E to
home time. If the timezone difference entails a date
change, this occurs automatically when the crown
is rotated.
4. Push the crown back into position 1. Press it lightly,
while gently turning clockwise, then tighten it again
until you feel some resistance. Do not force it!

Moreover, the rotating fl ange (disc) (4) provides an instant time readoff for
all timezones in relation to the second timezone indicated by the 24-hour
hand (C).
Example:
It is 10:08 in Paris, local time. To
read the time in the other time-
zones:
– Position the 24-hour hand (C)
on the 10 on the 24-hour scale.
– Turn the disk (4) so that the
24-hour hand is pointing to
Paris.
The local time in each timezone
will instantly be indicated by the
numeral on the 24-hour scale (5),
opposite the city in question. For
example, it is 18:08 in Tokyo and
02:08 in Denver.
