Meter Maintenance
The meter automatically tests its own systems every time you turn it on and lets you know if something is
wrong. See Chapter 5, Display and Error Messages.
If you drop the meter or think the results are not accurate, contact Roche.

Keep new and used batteries away from children. See the warning in the Introduction of this
User's Manual for additional information.
Changing the Battery

Open the battery door on
Remove the old battery.

up.

NOTE
• The meter uses one 3-volt lithium battery, coin cell type CR2032. This type of battery can be found in
many stores. It is a good idea to have a spare battery available.
• All results remain saved in the memory.
