• DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT WHERE IT COULD SLIP

• IF MACHINE STOPS GOING UPHILL, STOP BLADE(S)
AND BACK DOWNHILL SLOWLY.
• KEEP SAFET Y DEVICES (GUARDS, SHIELDS,
AND SWITCHES, ETC.) IN PLACE AND WORKING.
• REMOVE OBJECTS THAT COULD BE THROWN
BY THE BLADE(S).
• KNOW LOCATION AND FUNCTION OF ALL CONTROLS.
• BE SURE BLADE(S) AND ENGINE ARE STOPPED
BEFORE PLACING HANDS OR FEET NEAR BLADE(S).
• BEFORE LEAVING OPERATOR'S POSITION,
DISENGAGE BLADE(S), ENGAGE PARKING BRAKE,
SHUT OFF AND REMOVE KEY.

1. DISENGAGE BLADES/PTO, (POWER TAKE OFF)
2. ENGAGE THE TRACTOR'S PARKING BRAKE.
3. ACTIVATE THE CHOKE CONTROL.
4. TURN KEY TO START ENGINE. AFTER START RELEASE KEY
& DEACTIVATE CHOKE BY PLACING THROTTLE TO FAST
"RABBIT" POSITION.
• YOU MUST DISENGAGE BLADES BEFORE TRAVELING IN REVERSE.

POSITION, PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:
1. PLACE SHIFT LEVER IN NEUTRAL.
5. DEPRESS CLUTCH-BRAKE PEDAL.
2. RESTART ENGINE.
6. PLACE SPEED CONTROL LEVER
