USING THE VACUUM CLEANER

The vacuum cleaner must be switched off and unplugged prior to assembly!
1. Insert the end of the hose in the opening in front of the vacuum cleaner and secure.
2. Connect the other end of the hose with curved ending to the tube.
3. Attach to the tube accessories suitable for the fl ooring type. Switch the brush nozzle for carpets or for hard
fl oors according to the type of fl oor. The combined nozzle is designed for cleaning narrow spaces and
diffi cult to reach areas in the corners or between the furniture.
4. Starting the vacuum cleaner: plug the power cable in the electrical outlet whose parameters correspond
to the data in the type tag of the vacuum cleaner and press the power button to start the vacuum cleaner.
Adjust the required power using power regulator.
5. Pulling and rewinding the cord: Grasp the plug and pull out the power cord. Press the retractor button, the
power cord rewinds back in the vacuum cleaner.
Note: Never pull out the power cord beyond the red mark located on the cord. The yellow mark shows the
optimum length of the power cord.
Note: When carrying the appliance from one room to another unplug the power cord and carry it by the
handle. Never move the vacuum cleaner by pulling the power cord.
Suction power regulation
Using a sliding regulator on the hose handle you can regulate the suction power. The opening in the handle
can also be used to release any sucked in and jammed objects.

After use

Turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug the power cord from the outlet. Press the retractor button, the power
cord rewinds back in the vacuum cleaner. Before you add any accessories or before cleaning the appliance,
always turn the vacuum cleaner off and unplug it from the outlet.
Issues
Do not use an appliance showing any signs of damage. Damaged power cords must be replaced by a qualifi ed
authorized service centre. Only this way can you prevent safety risks.

service centre if you are not able to resolve an issue yourself.
Full dust bag indicator
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an indicator, which changes colour to red if the dust bag is full or if the
suction paths are otherwise blocked. If the full dust bag indicator is red even after inserting a new bag, switch
off the vacuum cleaner, unplug the power cord and check the hose or tube for jammed objects. If the indicator
remains red, refer to an authorized service centre or your dealer. To prevent overheating and possible damage
to the vacuum cleaner, check the following:
All the connections between hose, telescopic tube and the fl oor brush
Opening for connecting the hose
Brush throughput
Exhaust fi lter
Motor fi lter
Dust bag
