ADVANTAGES
Connect350
• Connecting 5 HDMI sources with one cable
• Supports up to 1080P HDTV resolution
• HDMI V1.3 certified by ATC (Authorized Test Centers)
• Meets the HDCP standards (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)
• Can be placed out of sight and can still be operated with the remote control when using
the external infrared receiver.
HDMI V1.3
• Video bandwidth 225 MHz (makes image reproduction of 1080P, 12-bit and 60Hz
possible)
• Deep Color 12-bit (billions instead of millions colours, better reproduction of subtle
differences in gradation and a higher contrast ratio)
• Dolby TrueHD & DTS HD Master Audio (high quality audio support)
• Lip-Sync (prevents synchronisation problems between image and sound)
• CEC (operate multiple 'CEC' devices with just one remote control).
INSTALLATION
1. Connect the HDMI cable to your screen (TV, monitor of projector) with the "HDMI
output" of the Connect350.
2. Connect the HDMI cables from your sources to the "HDMI inputs" of the Connect350.
3. Connect the external infrared receiver to the "IR Extender" input of the Connect350 and
mount it somewhere in sight of your remote control. For example up, under or at the side
of your A/V centre. This way you can keep operating the Connect350, even when it is
located in a closed cabinet.
4. Connect the power adaptor to the power connector of the Connect350 and connect to
the mains.
Remark 1:
In most cases the Connect350 operates without power adaptor. Standard all HDMI cables
are equipped with a 5V power pin, but unfortunately not all HDMI sources support this
functionality. So it depends on your HDMI sources if connecting the power adaptor to the
Connect350 is necessary. You can test this by simply disconnecting the power adaptor from
the Connect350 and see if it is still functioning properly.
Remark 2:
Use only category 2 HDMI certified cables for the best quality in image and sound.
