Ensure the cutting attachment remains clean and free from cut-offs that may cause it to jam. Check regularly.
Release the on-off switch and disconnect the device from the power supply before checking.
For best results, do not cut long grass in one cut and trim in stages.
Tips
For best results, do not cut wet grass as it tends to
stick to the cutting head and guard, prevents proper
discharge of grass trimmings, and could cause you to
slip and fall.
Pay special attention when performing the work close
to trees and bushes. The cutting head could damage
sensitive bark, and damage fence posts.
Note that the trimming line will wear faster and
require more feeding if cutting is done along
sidewalks or other abrasive surfaces or heavier
weeds are being cut.
After Use
Switch off after use, disconnect from the mains and let it cool down. Check, clean and store as described below.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep the ventilation openings clear, clean and dust-free at all times.
If the device is running erratically or something unusual occurs during use, immediately switch off the
device and unplug from the mains. Inspect the device before using it again. Repair must only be carried out
by a qualified technician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
Wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents.
Clean the device and accessories before storing.
Storing
Store the device, its accessories and this user manual in the original packaging.
Always store in a cool and dry place.
Transportation
Always carry the device by its handles.
Protect the device from heavy impacts and strong vibrations which may occur during transportation in
vehicles.
Secure the device to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
