Unscrew the safety screw (A).

Use a locking handle (B) and turn anti-clockwise one revolution at a time.
Each revolution is marked with a "click" position. Turn until the hose has
moved to required resting position.

Push the stop ball (C) up as far as possible. Fasten the stop ball in this
position.
5.
Turn the locking handle one revolution more.
6.
Check that the stop ball is catched by the stop clamp and that the damper
is closed. If not, screw the adjusting screw (D) downwards a little.
7.
Fasten the safety screw (A).

Reducing the lifting power

1.
Unscrew the safety screw (A).
2.
Use a locking handle (B) and turn a little anticlockwise.
3.
Push the button (E). Release one revolution clockwise at a time. For each
revolution the button (E) returns to its original position.

Fasten the safety screw (A). If necessary, adjust the stop ball position on
the cord.

Checking of procedure

1.
Make sure the safety screw (A) is in position.
2.
Pull the hose to its maximum extent and check that the balancer winds
the hose to its normal position at an even and steady pace. Hold the hose
by hand while it returns.

Maintenance instructions (Figure 6)

Check the following points, regarding fixing, functioning and wear, at periodic
intervals but at least once a year or when mounting spare parts.
1.
The fixing of the rail brackets.
2.
The hose.
3.
The end stops.
4.
The trolley stop.
5.
The wheels of the suction trolley.
6.
Check that the suction trolley moves easy in the whole length of rail.
7.
Check the guide ways of the suction trolley for wear. Clean the guide
ways if necessary.
8.
Check the rubber buffer and the schock absorber of the suction trolley.
9.
The nozzle.
10.
Check that there is enough suction power in the exhaust hose.
11.
The operation of the balancer. Make sure that the hose lifts up properly.
If necessary, adjust the lifting power of the balancer, see Figure 4.
12.
The cord on the balancer.
13.
Check the disconnection operation on systems with automatic
disconnection. If necessary, adjust the bowden wire on the suction
trolley.
14.
Check the tightness of the screws in the joint connectors.
