6.
Then place the micro-sieve in the sieve insert. There are marks on the bowl
and on the sieve (the larger opening on the floor edge of the sieve sits above
the pomace outlet opening). These marks must be precisely lined up, one
above the other, so that the sieve can lock in place. When the sieve can no
longer be turned to the left, it is properly locked in place.
7.
Now the juice extractor auger is inserted. The axle on the lower end must
be precisely inserted into the opening on the primary enclosure and then
locked in place. Ensure that you do not insert the wrong end of the auger
into the opening. When the auger can no longer turn it is properly locked in
place.
8.
Place the fill hopper on the appliance. When the hopper engages, note
that the arrow must point to the
marking (see Fig.). Turn the hopper
clockwise, to lock it in place. When
you hear a clacking sound, and the
marks are one above the other, the
hopper is properly locked in place.
9.
If the feed hopper does not easily
lock in place, do not use force, but
rather remove the juice extractor
auger and reinsert it.
10. Place the black collection container
under the pomace outlet and place
the transparent collection container under the juice outlet. Ensure that the
containers are correctly placed so that they collect everything that is dis-
charged.
PREPARING PRODUCE
1.
Use only fresh fruits and vegetables.
2.
Wash the fruit or vegetables carefully and dry them thoroughly.
3.
If you wish to extract juice from fruit with a hard skin, you must first remove
the peel. This is the case with pineapple, for example.
4.
Fruit with an inedible skin, such as citrus fruit, also must be peeled first.
