Problem
The appliance does not turn
on.
The coarseness of the grind
is not uniform.
The coffee is not coming out
of the doser correctly.
The motor gets blocked.
Automatic model
The coffee overflows from
the dosing unit.
Make sure it is plugged in.
•
Make sure the safety circuit breaker is closed.
•
Check that the main switch of the appliance is ON.
•
If the problem occurs itself after a long period of intensive
•
use, the motor could be in thermal protection lock! Wait at
least 20 minutes and try again. The waiting time can be
reduced by putting the appliance in a cool place.
If the problem occurs after an overload, the circuit breaker
•
on the motor may have been tripped! Push the circuit
breaker button (15°Fig. 3) under the support fork of the
appliance (not standard equipment on all models).
Automatic model: Check that the doser is not at maximum
•
capacity. If it is, move the doser lever to extract at least six
doses and check that it starts operating after having
removed a certain amount of ground coffee.
Automatic model: Check that the stopping blade is free to
•
move.
Try grinding very coarsely for a few seconds, then return to
•
the correct setting.
Call the Technical Assistance Service to check and change
•
the burrs.
Disconnect the plug and check for the presence of foreign
•
bodies in the doser.
Check that the hole where the coffee comes out of the doser
•
is free.
If the motor gets blocked due to incorrect regulation of
•
grinding or to the presence of a foreign body in the burrs,
try increasing to the coarsest grain size by turning the
regulating lever clockwise (6 Fig. 2).
If this is not enough, switch off the appliance, disconnect
the plug from the socket and consult technically qualified
personnel.
Check that the stopping blade (9 Fig. 2) is free to move.
•
If the problem persists, call the Technical Assistance
•
Service.
