    3. Zum Kennenlernen Die Hörhilfe dient zur Unterstützung des Hörvermögens von Menschen. Die Hörhilfe verstärkt hierzu Töne und überträgt diese dann auf das Ohr. Die Hör- hilfe kann organisch bedingte Hörschäden weder vorbeugen noch lindern. Die Hörhilfe bietet Ihnen vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Egal ob Sie einen Film anschauen möchten, sich mit Freunden unterhalten wollen oder einfach Lust haben im Wald den Klängen der Natur zu lauschen, die Hörhilfe hilft Ih- nen Töne lauter und deutlicher zu hören.

    6. Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung Entnehmen Sie die Hörhilfe der Verpackung und überprüfen Sie das Gerät und die Zubehörteile auf Vollständigkeit und Beschädigungen. 1. Öffnen Sie an der Hörhilfe das Batteriefach wie abgebildet. 2. Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie der im Lieferumfang enthal- tenen Knopfzellen-Batterie (Typ 13/PR48) und legen Sie diese nach 10-15 Minuten wie abgebildet in das Batterie- fach.
  • Página 14 Bevor Sie die Hörhilfe in Betrieb nehmen, achten Sie darauf, dass der Lautstärkeregler zu Beginn auf der niedrigsten Stufe eingestellt ist. 4. Bringen Sie die Hörhilfe wie abgebildet an Ihrem Ohr an. Führen Sie dabei den Ohrstöpsel nicht gewaltsam, sondern langsam in Ihren Gehörgang ein.

    3. Getting to know your device The hearing amplifier is a device to help people hear better. It does this by amplifying sounds and then transmitting these to the ear. The hearing ampli- fier can neither prevent nor alleviate organically caused hearing loss. The hearing amplifier offers you a variety of applications.
  • Página 28 • The device must NOT be used for patients suffering from an ear inflamma- tion or infection. • Do NOT use the hearing amplifier if you are suffering from an inflammation of the middle ear or ear canal. • If you feel unwell or experience pain when wearing the hearing amplifier, stop using it immediately and contact your doctor.

This is particularly important to note, as the device achieves a high output power.

    6. Initial use and operation Remove the hearing amplifier from the packaging and check that the device and all accessories are included and not damaged. 1. Open the battery compartment on the hearing amplifier as shown. 2. Remove the protective film from the button cell battery included in delivery (type 13/PR48) and insert the battery into the battery compartment as shown after 10 to 15 min- utes.

Slowly insert the earplug into your ear canal applying no force. Make sure not to insert the earplug too deeply into the ear canal.
