The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Remove the bumper and pull out the plastic plugs.

Lower the exhauster then remove the holder and the ablation plate.

According to drawing fit the plates with nuts (4,5) into the chassis beam, then
–
the side plates (2,3), the ablation plate and the exhauster holder at „a" positions with the
attached bonding units.
Drill through the chassis beam at the side plates „b" markings with a ∅12.5 mm drill.

Fix the drag hook body (1) at the „b" and „c" positions and the side plates at „d"
–
positions with the attached bonding units.
Cut the bumper off with the attached gauge.

Reinstall the bumper.

According to requirements carry out connecting of electric wires breaking the rear
–
of cables.
Only specialised services are authorised to install drawhooks.
