IS SUSEPTABLE TO RAIN OR WATER.
12. TROUBLESHOOTING:
If the generator engine fails to start after several
attempts and if there is no electricity available at the
output socket then please check the chart below. If
the generator still fails to start or generate electricity
the please contact CREATIVE HOUSEWARES (see
the back page of this manual for the contact details)
When the engine fails to start:
Check if the choke lever is in it's proper posi-
tion
Check if the fuel cork is open
Check the fuel level
Check if the engine switch is in the "OFF"
position
Ensure that the generator is not connected to
an appliance
Test to see if the spark plug cap is loose.
Check the spark plug for carbon build up
Set the choke lever to the "CLOSED" position
If it is closed, open it
If the fuel tank is empty, refill it. CAUTION: Do
not overfill
Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
If it is connected to an appliance, turn off the
power switch on the appliance and unplug it.
If it is loose, push the spark plug cap back
tight
