Safety instructions
The Virax machine ref. 050116 is a machine that may present certain dangers. It is
therefore important that you respect the following instructions in order to avoid injury
or potentially serious lesions to yourself or others. The Virax machine ref. 050116 is
designed for professional use only and may only be used by competent people. The
rules of the art in the building and public works industry must always be respected.

Important: Virax cannot be held responsible for any accidents that occur if the
machine is used in any way other than that for which it was designed.
Specific safety instructions

- Do not use tools other than those designed for the machine. Only the core drilling
tools designed for the machine must be mounted on it. Virax cannot be held
responsible for any accidents that occur if tools other than those explicitly specified
for machine 050116 are used.
- If the power cable is damaged when using the machine, do not touch it and
disconnect the machine from the electricity network immediately. Never use the
motor if the power cable is damaged.
- Never remove the plug by pulling on the cable.
- Never carry the machine holding it by the cable.
- Never let the machine run unsupervised. Disconnect the machine if you want to
work on one of its accessories or tools or when you leave the machine, following a
power cut, break, etc..
- Once you have stopped work, only switch the motor back on once you are sure
that the drill bit can turn freely.
- If the machine stops for any reason, set the switch to OFF and pull out the plug
before looking for the cause.
- Regardless of the position of the machine, water must never enter the motor when
you are working with the machine.
- If liquid exits the overflow on the neck of the gearbox, stop working immediately
and send the motor for repair to an authorised workshop.
- Check that there is no risk of damaging or touching a gas, electricity or water
conduct when drilling.
- Do not use the motor on a ladder.
- Avoid any positions that are tiring for the body: make sure that your support on the
floor is solid and remain balanced at all times.
- Check that you do not drill into any materials that contain asbestos.
