7 Product Description
Invacare Cascata H720T4C is a mobile toilet chair composed
of flip down plastic padded armrests, a padded backrest,
with swing-away footrest, a padded seat plate with toilet
cut-out and with four braked castors. A toilet pan with lid
can be placed under the seat.

9 Intended Use
This product is intended to be used as a toilet aid providing
stable seating position while going to the toilet.
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips). If used without an
assistant, the users must be able to keep their own balance.
Indication
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to transitional
or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended.
The maximum user weight: 130 kg
10 Assembling the Product (Fig. 2 — 5)
CAUTION!
Risk of Trapping
– Take care during assembly.
1. Guide the backrest tube C on both sides, from the top
onto the seat frame. (Fig 2) A.
2. Tighten the star head screw F (hand-tight). (Fig. 3)
3. Swivel armrests B on both sides upwards until the spring
pin I latches into the hole of the lock J on the seat
frame. (Fig 3)
CAUTION!
Risk of Falling
– Make sure that the spring pin latches on both
sides with an audible click.
4. Place the footrests D on both sides through the lateral
holes K into the attachment pins L. (Fig 4)
5. Swivel both footrests to the front.

1. Pull up the lever O and release the footrest by lifting
it upward.
2. Loosen screw with nut M with an Allen key and move
the lower part of the footrests N up or down. Tighten
the nut again.
3. Place the footrest back in by proceeding in reverse order.
The device is dismantled by following the assembly procedure
in reverse order.
11 Usage
Releasing the Armrests
1. Pull the spring pin knob I. The armrest is released from
its fixation J and swivels downward. (Fig. 3)
Transfer to and from the Chair
CAUTION!
Risk of Trapping/Squeezing
All castor locks are foot-operated.
– Do not operate the castor locks by hand.
1. Lock the castor lock by stepping on the rear end of the
pedal until it engages.
2. Flip up the footrests.
3. Alternative to 2.: Press the black lever to swivel the
footrests to the side. (Fig. 5)
WARNING!
Risk of Slipping and Rolling
– Lock all castors with levers using the foot
levers before sitting down on the toilet chair or
standing up from it, as well as in the parking
position.
WARNING!
Risk of Tipping!
– Swivel the footrests to the side or fold up the
foot plates before sitting down or standing up.
Inserting/Removing the Toilet Pan
The toilet pan can be inserted/removed with or
without cover.
1. Insert the upper rim of the toilet pan from the rear side
between the seat and the brackets under the seat.
To remove the toilet pan, repeat step 1 in reverse
order.
The toilet pan can be lifted and carried by its
handle.
