The leak detect feature alerts if solution is present in the pump head by sensing the
conductivity of the liquid. The sensitivity is factory preset to distinguish between water and
common water treatment chemicals. Always calibrate the sensitivity with the chemical and
chemical concentration utilized in the application to reduce the number of false tube leaks.
• When a leak is detected the Leak LED blinks red and the pump shuts off, unless the
leak detect jumper was removed during installation.
• To reset the pump, the tube housing, cover and components must be clean & dry and
the power must be disconnected and reconnected.
• The sensitivity is adjusted with the potentiometer (brass screw) located under the
terminal cover on the back of the pump. Use a small flat blade screwdriver less than
3 mm to turn the potentiometer.
