3. Use and maintenance instructions,
intended for user
Important:
•
Make sure the place where the cooktop
will be installed is well-ventilated and
keep windows open for good
ventilation.
•
Do not let the burner flame extend
beyond the edge of the pan.
•
When in use, the entire area of the
cooktop may become hot.
•
Make sure the kitchen is well-ventilated
and keep windows open for good
ventilation.
•
After use, make sure the knobs are in off
position and shut off the main gas supply
valve or the gas cylinder valve.
•
Overheated oils and fats catch fire easily.
•
Always remain vigilant when cooking
foods rich in fat and oil.
•
Before cleaning, wait for the cooktop to
cool down.
•
To ignite one of the burners, turn the
relative knob counterclockwise to the
maximum flame setting.

•
Press the knob against the control panel
to ignite the burner.
•
After the burner has ignited, keep the
knob pressed for about 5-10 seconds to
actuate the safety device.
•
The safety device shuts off the gas supply
to the burner if the flame accidentally
goes out (due to sudden draft, gas supply
interruption, spillovers, etc.).
•
The knob must not be pressed for more
than 15 seconds. If after that period of
time the burner does not light, wait one
minute and try again.
Note:
If having problems when lighting the burner
due to local gas supply, repeat the
operation with the knob in low flame
position.
When releasing the knob, the flame may go
out. That means the safety device has not
heated enough. Repeat previous steps.
