Fig. 19/1 indicates the assemblies referred to in the text of this
manual which are named below:
K = PTO Shaft
L = Overload Clutch

The HK31 model is a PTO driven ground cultivator.
It is fittet with a three speed change gearbox (type D).
The HK31 is suitable for tractors with standard three point
linkage (category see Fig. 18/1 - E).
Drive is transmitted from tractor PTO through PTO shaft fitted
with an overload safety clutch unit to gearbox driving, a heavy
duty gear train which carries pairs of contra-rotating blades.
The tillage depth is regulated by an open Crumble Roller or
Packer Roller. The roller is free floating on the adjustable
upper stop pins. By changing the LH and RH stop pin the
tillage depth can be adjusted.
A rear mounted Levelling Bar ensures a level and even
seedbed by breaking down clods. Rigid or spring loaded
wheelmark eradicators also assist in the production of an even
seedbed.
An optional Combi-Hitch and the rear PTO enables additional
equipment e. g. Seeders, Toolbars, PTO driven Injectors etc to
be used in combination with the Harrovator.
By varying the rotational speed of the blades, the tillage depth
and the forward travel speed of the tractor, fine and even,
shallow or deep seedbets can be producet in most soil types.
