5. Attach the two-piece extension wand to the vacuum hose and attach the desired cleaning tool.

6. Plug the extension cord into a 120V grounded outlet. Always unwind the cord completely before vacuuming. It is
important to maintain the power cord in good condition.
7. Clip the on/off switch to the waist belt and turn the backpack vacuum cleaner to the on position (Fig. 14).

Always operate the backpack vacuum cleaner with a vacuum bag installed.
How to Change the Vacuum Bag
1. Turn off main power switch and unplug unit from wall outlet. (Fig. 15).
2. Remove vacuum hose from lid. (Fig. 16).
3. Release the two latches and lift off lid. (Fig. 17).
4. Separate lid from paper bag and dispose of paper bag. (Fig. 18).
5. Remove cloth filter bag, clean, dust and replace. (Fig. 19).
6. Insert new paper bag making sure to align lid nozzle with bag hole and refasten latches. (Fig. 20).
