2.4. ELECTRICAL SECURITY
The mains must coincide with the electrical cable of
the machine. Do not manipulate the electrical cable
or the mains in any case. Mains and cables that have
not been manipulated will reduce the risks of electric
shocks.
Avoid all body contact with pipes, radiators, electric
kitchens and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is in contact with earthed
products or materials.
Do not expose the machine to rain or humid
conditions. Any water or liquid entering the machine
will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not overstretch the cable. Do not use the cable
to carry the machine or to pull off from the mains.
Maintain the cable well away from heat sources,
oil, sharp and jagged areas or pieces in movement.
Cables that are damaged or tangled increase the risk
of electric shocks.
Never use this machine with the cable or the mains
switch damaged. Before start up, always check the
mains and the cable for any damages. If you see
any possible damage, do not start the machine and
either repair the machines or take the machine for
repair. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk
of electric shocks.
The change of the mains switch and/or of the cable
must be carried out by the manufacturer or by the
after sales service. We recommend that the machine
should be connected to a residual differential
connector that is less or up to 30mA.
Never use this machine with the cable or the mains
switch damaged. Before start up, always check the
mains and the cable for any damages. If you see
any possible damage, do not start the machine and
either repair the machines or take the machine for
repair. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk
of electric shocks.
When using an extension cable, make sure it has
a minimum section of 1.5 mm2, not more than 25
m, always fully unrolled, and is suitable for outdoor
use. The use of an extension cable suitable for
outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
Place the cable prolongator in such a way that it does
not get tangled with branches and other objects in the
working area. The cable prolongator must always be
behind the user.
Always hold the extension cable on the machines
hook.
Always disconnect the cable from the mains before
doing any maintenance work on the machine. Only
manipulate the machine when disconnected from the
mains.
