Do not perform any operations that involve opening
the appliance.
Make sure that the systems to which the appliance
should be connected comply with the applicable
regulations.
Do not start or stop the appliance simply by plugging it
into the mains electricity socket or unplugging it.
Do not damage/modify/heat the power cable or place
heavy objects on top of it.
Do not leave any objects on top of the appliance.
Do not climb onto the appliance.
Do not attempt to clean the appliance without fi rst turn-
ing it off and unplugging it or switching the dedicated
switch off .
Do not direct the air fl ow towards gas hobs or gas
stoves.
Do not place your fi ngers in the air outlets or in the air
inlet grilles.
Do not drink the condensate water.
If you notice a burnt smell or see smoke coming out of
the device, disconnect it from the power supply, open
all windows and contact the technician.
Ensure that there is suffi cient ventilation in the room
in which the dehumidifi er is installed if a combustion
appliance is also located there.
Do not operate the unit in the presence of hazardous
substances and fl ammable or corrosive gases.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or by the relevant technical assis-
tance service, or – at all events – by a suitably qualifi ed
technician, in order to prevent potential risks.
Avoid prolonged exposure to the air fl ow.
Do not use any insecticides, solvents or aggressive
detergents to clean the appliance.
Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than
normal domestic use.
Do not allow children or inexperienced persons to
operate the appliance.
Do not direct the air fl ow towards valuable items, plants
or animals.
Make sure that the appliance is connected to an effi cient earthing system.
