INSTALLING THE SUPPORT STRAP
With the wrench storage pocket facing down,
thread the end of the strap opposite the
Rotozip® logo through the post near the front
of the tool as shown. Continue to thread the
strap through the rear post near the cord. Fold
the back flap over first (1), then fold the end
with the Rotozip® logo (2) as shown in figure
4. Press firmly to ensure the strap is secured.

SLIDE ON-OFF SWITCH WITH LOCK
The tool is switched "ON" by the switch
button located at the side of the motor
housing (Fig. 6). The switch can be locked in
the "ON" position, a convenience for long
cutting operations.
TO TURN THE TOOL "ON" without locking it,
slide the switch button forward by applying
pressure ONLY at the REAR portion of the
button. When pressure is released the switch
button will snap to "OFF" position.
TO LOCK THE SWITCH "ON", slide the
switch button forward and press "IN" the
FRONT portion (Fig. 6).
TO UNLOCK THE SWITCH, simply press
and release the REAR portion of the button.
Switch is spring loaded and will snap back
automatically (Fig. 7).
Hold the tool with both
WARNING
hands while starting, since
torque from the motor can cause the tool to
twist.
Your tool is equipped with a dust port for dust
extraction. To use this feature, insert dust
port adapter into dust port, attach vacuum
hose into the adapter, then connect the
opposite end of the hose to a shop vacuum
cleaner (Fig. 5).
