Filter maintenance
1. Shut the stopcock.
2. Set the safety button of the temperature regulating handle to match the
"40" mark.
For the switching (open/close) handle set the lever to match "
3. Remove the temperature regulating handle and switching (open/close)
handle.
Be careful not to turn the temperature regulating handle and remove the
cap and machine screws then remove the handle.
Use a precision screwdriver or the like with a fine point to remove the cap,
being careful not to scratch the galvanized surface during removal.
For the switching (open/close) handle, it is possible to remove it without
fully removing the stopper screws from the handle but simply partially
loosening them.

When cleaning the filter, be sure to do so after closing the
stopcock of the piping.
Also, check that part of the hot water side filter is not hot.
Hot water at a high temperature may come out, which may
cause scalding and damage to your property by wetting
household goods due to water leakage.
4. Remove the plate, loosen the screws and remove the resin plate.
* When removing the plate, cure it with tape or the like to avoid
scratching the base.
* When removing the plate, using suction disks (2) will make it easier
to remove.
5. Loosen the filter with a socket wrench (17 mm) then extract it.
* There is a filter in two places, the hot water and the cold water side.
* Check that part of the hot water side filter is not hot.
6. Remove any garbage and dirt stuck in the filter with a toothbrush or the like.
7. Attach the filter and open the stopcock.
