PRIMARY CODING
To be able to receive a call, the call button on the Due
Fili door entry system has to be coded . This coding
involves assigning the device an ID number of between
1 to 200 . To configure the device, carry out the follow-
ing operations:
• Access the back of the device .
• Press the coding button "R" and keep it pressed . The
light of the name-plate will go off . Press the button on
the front of the button and keep it pressed . Release
button "R" .
• The device will emit a short confirmation beep (first
audible signal of "assignment of internal device to be
called"); keep the button on the panel pressed until
you hear a second "coding assignment" beep then
release the button . If no beep is emitted at this stage,
repeat the procedure .
• Once the second beep has sounded, the door
entry system has been coded and now needs to be
assigned an ID number . This number can be set from:
- an Due Fili plate with an alphanumeric keypad by entering
the code .
- personal computer (PC) and interface Art . 02024 and dedi-
cated "SaveProg" software .
As procedure differ for varying coding tools, see the technical
documentation for instructions regarding coding the device .
• When the code is sent, the call button beeps to confirm that
coding has taken place; the code is then saved by the device
and remains the same until a new configuration is input .
Even in the event of a power failure, the code remains as
before .
IMPORTANT
During coding operations, take care not to assign the same
code to more than one device . Needless to say, it is very impor-
tant to keep a record of the codes assigned to the devices in
the system (also useful in the event of expanding the system at
some time in the future) .
