2.1 Proper use

The NUK Hospital Bottle
designed for thawing and heating liquid
baby food in the form of milk (breast milk,
pre-or follow-on milk) by means of infrared
heating and without adding water.
It can be used
– to thaw frozen food;
– for especially
heating of liquid food to the perfect
feeding temperature (37 °C ± 2 °C);
– for keeping food warm for no more
than 30 minutes.
This device should only be used in dry
rooms. It must not be used out in the open
or in humid rooms.

2.2 Description of function

The two built-in infrared heaters generate
heat radiation that heats the liquid in the
bottle. After the operating button 5 is
pressed, the food is automatically heated to
37 °C ± 2 °C.
The temperature of the food is measured by a
temperature sensor in the base.
A bottle detection function (weight sensor)
prevents the device from being switched on
inadvertently, e.g. without a bottle.
Once the final temperature is reached, the
device automatically switches to keep-warm
mode. It switches off after 30 minutes.
The device features air cooling to prevent it
from overheating. The built-in fan takes in
air from below. Air outlets are located at the
rear and on the sides.
An anti-theft device (e.g. notebook lock) can
be fitted to the lock for theft protection 9, so
stopping the bottle warmer from being sto-
len.
