Charging with the power adapter
First make sure that all Power Station components are turned off. This includes turning the ignition
aid rotary switch (1) to the OFF position. Also turn the switches on the device back for the compressor
(17) and voltage inverter (18) to the O position. Disconnect any devices from the Power Station that
may be plugged into the 12 V outlets (3) or the USB charging sockets (13). Also turn off the work
light (button 7).
Now connect the power adapter's charging cable (24) to the charging socket (14) on the Power
Station. Then plug the power adapter (24) into a suitable power outlet
The charging indicator lamp (10) lights up above the charging socket (14) to signify that charging
has begun. The charging time will vary significantly depending on the discharge state of the battery
and its temperature. Under unfavorable circumstances, charging may take up to 48 hours.
Use the built-in voltmeter (2) to check the charging progress in intervals of several hours.
When the voltmeter pointer reaches the green scale range (press the control button (11 ), the battery
is fully charged. lf the battery is fully charged, the voltmeter will indicate a value between approx.
12.8 Volt and 13 Volt.
First unplug the power adapter from the power outlet and then from the charging socket (14) on the
Power Station.
Caution: Always terminate the charging process after max. 48 hours! langer charging times
may cause irreversible damage to the battery and will not increase performance!
Charging with the 12 Volt vehicle charging cable
First follow all steps to turn off all components as described in the previous chapter "Charging with
the power adapter''.
Now connect the 12 Volt vehicle charging cable (25) to the charging socket (14) on the Power
Station. Then connect the 12 Volt vehicle charging cable (25) to a suitable on-board voltage outlet
in your vehicle.
Caution: Follow your vehicle manufacturer's user manual and safety instructions!
The charging time will take up to 15 hours depending on the discharge state of the battery and its
temperature.
Check the Power Station's state of charge as described in the previous chapter "Charging with the
power adapter".
When the battery is fully charged, unplug the 12 Volt vehicle charging cable in reverse order from
the vehicle and the Power Station.
Caution: Charging the Power Station from your vehicle puts significant strain on the battery.
Always charge your vehicle battery immediately after charging the Power Station. Follow
your vehicle manufacturer's warnings and safety instructions!
