Caution: Always make sure that both of the Power Station's pole clips never touch. This
poses a risk of fire and explosion!
Connecting the Power Station to the vehicle (negative ground)
Turn off all electrical devices inside the vehicle and pull the parking brake.
Turn the ignition aid rotary switch (1) to the OFF position.
First connect the red pole clip (positive) (22) and then the black pole clip (negative) (23) to your
vehicle following your vehicle manufacturer's instructions for ignition aid.
Caution: Follow all the vehicle manufacturer's instructions on ignition aid
regarding operation, safety and warnings.
The control lamp (6) on the Power Station lights up green when both pole clips (22, 23) are correctly
connected to the vehicle. However, if the connection is incorrect (reversed polarity), the control
lamp (6) on the Power Station lights up red and a warning signal sounds.
Disconnect both pole clips from the vehicle and start again at the beginning of this chapter.
lf the control lamp (6) is lit up green, turn the rotary switch (1) to the ON position.
Caution: Never leave the Power Station unattended inside the engine compartment. Rotating
parts or jarring may cause the Power Station to fall, resulting in severe damage to the vehicle
or the product itself! Never place the Power Station on hot surfaces.
Starling the engine with the ignition aid function
Start your engine following the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. lf your engine does not start up
within max. 6 seconds, cease attempts for approx. 5 minutes. During this time, the Power Station
battery can chemically regenerate before additional attempts to start the engine are made.
Cease attempts to start the engine using the ignition aid function if the engine does not start after a
few attempts. Contact a professional workshop and have your vehicle repaired.
Disconnecting the Power Station from the vehicle
First turn the ignition aid rotary switch (1) to the OFF position. Then first disconnect the black pole
clip (positive) (23) and then the red pole clip (negative) (22) from your vehicle Store both pole clips
using the intended uptakes on the left and right side of the Power Station.
Compressor
Please note: The Power Station features an air compressor with a maximum working pressure
of 18 bar. As the construction of air compressors dictates, only small volumes of air may
be moved per each compressor cylinder's operating cycle (revolution). The compressor is
therefore not suited for inflating large-volume products such as rubber rafts or camping
mattresses. A high volume pump is required for this purpose!
lnflating a tire with car or Schrader valve
Caution: Always heed the maximum filling pressure for the tire or object you wish to inflate.
Read the vehicle or object usurer manual beforehand. Exceeding the maximum filling
pressure poses a risk of explosion and injury!
First open the storage compartment cover (5) and remove the air hose without bending or twisting
it. Then proceed as illustrated here:
