Instructions for use concerning the sleeved apron
for safe preparation of phytosanitary spray mixture
according to standards EN ISO 27065: 2017 and NF EN 14605 +A1: 2009
FIELD OF USE
The S-PROTEC® PLUS apron meets the requirements of the PPE regulation 2016/425 in terms of
safety, comfort and strength.
This apron is intended to be worn to handle concentrated phytopharmaceutical products
when preparing spray mixture in agricultural sprayers (boom sprayer or pneumatic sprayer or
atomiser). It is made out of material guaranteeing a barrier against penetration of certain
phytopharmaceutical products (see list of tested products below). It is important to complement
this apron by wearing extra equipment (see below). It has sleeves to protect arms from splashes
and rubbing; it is open on the sides to aerate the body.
Warning:
do not wear the apron close to rotating parts, due to risks of it being caught
in moving machinery. Remove this apron after preparing the vat and particularly before
entering the tractor / self-propelled vehicle cabin.
Inflammable material - keep away from fire.
This apron should be removed immediately in the event of accidental spillage.
It is appropriate for the following phytopharmaceutical product: PROWL. 3.3 EC
RECOMMANDED EXTRA EQUIPMENT
This apron should be worn over work clothes that cover arms and legs.
We recommend also wearing:
• a TM phytosanitary suit.
• a pair of nitrile gloves to be put on after the apron (wash your hands before putting on the
gloves, fit glove cuffs over the apron sleeves).
• a pair of protective glasses or a visor.
• according to the recommendations on the label of the phytosanitary product in question, a
mask with a mixed filter against vapours and particles, type A2P3.
• chemical protection boots.
