Installing/changing the batteries
You are advised to use alkaline-manganese batteries for the operation of the
measurer.
To open the cover of the battery housing F, press the locking device G and
remove the cover from the battery housing. Insert the batteries adhering to the
polarity.
The battery symbol is displayed on the screen with three bars when the batteries
are new, replace the batteries when the symbol only displays one bar.
Always change all the batteries at the same time. Only use batteries of the same
brand and the same capacity.
Remove the batteries from the measurer if the device is not used for a prolonged
period. In the event of prolonged storage, the batteries may corrode and go at.
Operation
Start-up
Do not leave the measurer on unsupervised and switch it o aer use. Other people
could be dazzled by the laser beam.
Protect the measurer from damp, do not expose to direct sunlight.
Do not expose the measurer to extreme temperatures or strong temperature
changes. Do not store it for a long time in a car for instance. If it is exposed to
strong temperature changes, leave it to return to room temperature before
switching it back on. Extreme temperatures or strong temperature changes may
reduce the accuracy of the measurer.
Avoid violent shocks to and avoid dropping the measurer. When the measurer
has been subjected to strong external stresses, always perform an accuracy
check before continuing to work.

Switching on/off

A. On/measurement button(G) : Pres the On/measurement button for a few
seconds to start up the device. Briey press the button to switch on the laser. Briey
press the button to activate the isolated measurement mode. Hold the button
down to activate the continuous measurement mode.
B. Hold down the button (I) to switch off the device.
1) ON and OFF buttons (Fig.B)
1. Press the button (G) to switch on the rangefinder; the device goes into isolated
measurement mode by default.
2. Press the button (I) for approximately 2 seconds to switch off the device.
3. If the device is not used for 45 seconds, it goes off automatically to save the
battery.
2) Setting up
Long press the first key (G) for about 5 seconds to enter the setting state in the
shutdown state, and the measured value can be corrected within the range of +/-
7mm; Can be set in metric or imperial units; Can set backlight and buzzer. Press
