4 CAB FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR OPTIONAL HEATER
18) Drain coolant from radiator and
replace drain plug. Remove roof from
cab, see page 14.
19) Disconnect connection on
temperature sender and unscrew
sender, located by the top radiator
hose. Screw striaght fitting Q (fig 2.5)
into engine block where sender was
fitted, using PTFE tape to around
thread.
20) Fit 90 degree hosetail fitting onto
straight fitting, and relocate sender
into the end of 90 degree hosetail
fitting (fig 2.5) using PTFE tape on
thread.
21) Reconnect wire to sender.
22) Remove existing metal pipe from
radiator bottom hose, by undoing
securing screw and clips.
23) Prior to fitting pipe R (fig2.6) hold the
pipe in the position shown in fig 2.6
and bend the location tab on the pipe
so that it is parallel to the downpipe.
24) Fit new pipe R, Retighten fastening
screw, and wire clips.
25) Slide protective hose sleeving S
(fig2.8) over heater hoses and
position so that hoses are protected
from chafing on the edge of the cab
frame, tie wrap in position.
Connect up heater hoses (fig 2.7)
26)
using clips provided, first routing and
tie-wrapping the hoses so they avoid
all heat surfaces and moving parts,
use fig 2.7 as a guide. It may be
neccesary to trim the hoses once
routed. Ensure the heater feed is
connected to 90'hosetail, by the
