When using the device, ensure that the
power cable cannot be trapped or
crushed.
When removing the mains plug from the

In order to prevent overheating of the
device and to ensure optimal drying:
- Do not cover the device.
- Ensure that the ventilation slots on the
underside of the base unit are kept
free.
- Place the device on a level and
smooth surface. Tablecloths, fabrics
and similar might obstruct free ventila-
tion.
- Do not cover the mesh screens of the
food dehydrator trays (e.g. with pa-
per, aluminium foil, or similar) com-
pletely.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning
The fan (especially the metal parts), the
lid, the food dehydrator trays and the
food to be dehydrated may become hot
during operation. During operation,
only touch the handles and control ele-
ments of the device.
After the device is switched off, let the
device and the dehydrated food cool
before you remove the dehydrated food
and the device is cleaned.
Only transport the device when it has
cooled down, and when doing so only
use the handles intended for this pur-
pose.
WARNING! Risk of material
damage
Only use the original accessory.
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
The device is fitted with non-slip plastic
feet. As furniture is coated with a wide ar-
ray of varnishes and synthetics, and is
also treated with different care products,
it cannot be fully ruled out that some of
these materials contain components that
could attack and soften the non-slip plas-
tic feet. If necessary, place a non-slip mat
under the device.
