Programming MagicSpeed

 Protect every hole you drill against water penetration, e.g. by using a ca-
ble with a sealant and by spraying the cable and the the cable sleeve with
sealant.
7.2
Connecting the control panel
➤ Plug the connection cable of the control panel (fig. 7 1, page 5) into the
sockets of the 8 pin plug housing (fig. 7 2, page 5).
– brown: slot 2
– yellow: slot 3
– red: slot 6
– orange: slot 8
(Make sure that the colours on the connection cables match those on the
mating connector or the colour markings on the plug housing.)
➤ Feed the connection cable for the control panel to the electronic module.
➤ Plug the assembled 8-pin compact plug of the control element into the
8-pin socket of the cable set (fig. 8, page 5).

➤ Program MagicSpeed as described in the installation and operating
manual of the cruise control.

Performing a functional test

NOTE
I
The lowest speed at which the speed regulator can operate is
approximately 30 km/h and the highest approximately 140 km/h
➤ Start the vehicle.
➤ Switch on the speed regulator using the ON/OFF button on the control
panel.
➤ Drive at a speed of 40 to 50 km/h.
➤ Press the SET button to activate the speed regulator.
✓ The speed controller gently takes on the speed and maintains the driving
speed constantly.
