Earth terminal

The earth terminal (8) is connected to the control panel,
the non-current carrying metal parts and the earth
terminals of each socket.
To prevent electric shock to the user, damage to the
generator and the appliances connected to it, connect
the earth wire to the ground. For this purpose, use a
wire with the right cross-sections, as shown below.
0.12 mm → 1 A.
For example: for 20 A, a 2.4 mm wire.

Starting the engine

1. Ensure that the AC sockets circuit breaker (6) is in the
"OFF" position when starting the engine;
2. Move the choke lever (18) to the left;
3. Open the fuel valve (15) located under the fuel tank
(2). Place it in an upright position;
4. Set the engine switch (14) upwards to the "ON"
position;
5. Pull the recoil starter (16) slowly until you feel some
resistance, then pull it hard until the engine starts
running;
6. After about 5 seconds, move the choke lever to the
right, to allow air intake to the engine.
Do not set the choke lever to CHOKE position if
the engine is warm or the air temperature is high.

Stopping the engine

1. Switch off all equipments;
2. Unplug the appliances' power cord from the AC
sockets (7) and set the AC socket circuit breaker (6)
to the "OFF" position;
Disconnect the cables connected to the DC terminals
(10);
3. Set the ON/OFF switch (14) to the "OFF" position;
4. After stopping the generator, always close the fuel
valve (15), place it in a horizontal position.

Connecting the generator to the building's electrical
system
The generator can supply emergency standby power to
a home when there is a power cut from the electrical
grid. When using the generator, its purpose is not to
supply power to all the appliances in the house, but
rather, to what is considered essential.
Connecting the generator to the building's
electrical system must be carried out correctly to
prevent damage to the generator and avoid the risk of
accidents.
Wiring must only be carried out by a qualified
electrician or by individuals with training in electrical
installations. The generator must not be directly
connected to the building's electrical system without an
isolating device (transfer switch).
In case of power cut, whenever you connect the
generator to the electrical installation of a building to
supply power, you must turn off the main circuit
breaker in the distribution board.
