GB
forced discs is reinforced with a metal ring. If in doubt whether the used shield is reinforced, read the information supplied with the
blade and/or contact the blade manufacturer.
It is forbidden to use other types of discs, abrasive discs, diamond discs, circular saw blades.
Do not use water or other liquids to cool the cutting process. The cutter is designed only for dry cutting.
Abrasive discs should be stored in dry, dark rooms in packaging to protect the discs from dust and exposure to mechanical dam-
age. Wear protective gloves when handling abrasive discs. Pay attention to the useful life of the abrasive disks. Do not use discs
that do not have information about the expiration date or discards past due.
Do not use worn discs with a larger nominal diameter. Such discs are adapted to lower rotational speed and their use in a tool with
a higher rotational speed may cause their disintegration.
After each blade change and before starting work, start the machine for one minute without load. Observe the machine's operation
in case of unusual vibrations, immediately turn off the machine and replace the abrasive disk. While starting the power cutter never
stand in such a way that any part of the body remains in the plane of rotation of the abrasive disk. If the damaged blade breaks
down, it will reduce the risk of serious injury.
The disc rotates for some time after the machine is turned off .
Lift and carry the tool by gripping the working table or the carrying handle. Keep your hands away from the abrasive disc. Before
lifting or moving, make sure that all moving parts have been blocked. Do not use covers to lift and transport the tool. Carry the tool
by grasping the handle only when the cutting head is in the lower position or is locked with a chain.
Use the tool only with well-functioning, properly maintained and properly fi tted guards.
Keep the fl oor in the workplace clean.
Warning! Refrain from removing cut elements or other material parts from the cutting area while the tool is running with an exposed
abrasive disc.
All repairs or replacements should be carried out at the authorized service of the manufacturer.
Ensure correct and safe cutting. Always attach the cut material to the work table. Make sure that the tool is stable before starting
work. If necessary, attach the tool to the table. If necessary, support the long material to be cut.
PRODUCT INSTALLATION
The product is delivered as completely assembled. Before the fi rst use, detach the chain securing the cutter head in the lower
position (II). The chain should be installed every time before transporting the machine.
After lifting the cutting head, check that the movable part of the cover has automatically moved to the lowest position. If the move-
ment of the cover is disturbed or does not decrease automatically, slightly loosen the cover screw (III). It is forbidden to completely
remove the cover screw.
PREPARATION TO WORK
Steps to take before starting work
The machine should be put in the workplace, on a work table, stand or similar position. All covers and safety devices must be prop-
erly secured before starting the machine. Make sure that the abrasive blade can rotate freely. Before starting the machine, make
sure that all moving parts can move smoothly in the full range and that the abrasive blade is fi tted correctly. Before connecting the
cable plug to the mains, make sure that the mains power supply corresponds to those on the machine's rating plate.
The machine should be placed on an even and stable surface, for example on a work table. The mounting height should be
chosen to increase the operator in such a way as to be able to be operated fully without too far reaching, while ensuring a stable
and safe operator's attitude.
Installation and replacement of the abrasive disc
Warning! Before mounting or replacing the abrasive disc, disconnect the miter from the mains by disconnecting the mains plug
from the mains socket.
When replacing the abrasive disc, use protective gloves.
Lift the shield of the abrasive disc (IV) so that the screw holding the disc is completely exposed.
There is a spindle rotation lock on the motor housing side, it must be moved towards the abrasive disk and held in this position
(V). Using a key, turn the screw together with the abrasive disc (VI) until the blockade hits the hole of the inner fl ange fastening
the abrasive disc and blocks its movement (VII).
Holding the spindle lock, unscrew the fastening screw and disassemble the outer clamping fl ange (VIII). Remove the abrasive disc
and use a brush with soft bristles to clean the place of assembly. Install the abrasive disc and external clamping fl ange holding the
blockade so that the spindle cannot be rotated, tighten the disk fi xing bolt. Lower the movable disc shield.
After assembly, check that the abrasive disc is correctly installed. Put on personal protective equipment. Stand in such a position
that no parts of your body are in the rotation plane of the abrasive disc. Turn on the machine and allow it to work without load for
one minute. If any suspicious vibrations or other signs of abnormal operation are observed at this time, the machine should be
stopped immediately and the abrasive disc should be checked correctly.
