Replacing the Front Cover Visor
To remove the front cover visor pull on the side tab that is hooked onto the helmet
shell. It should click off and slide out of the top and bottom retaining lips. The
opposite side should detach easily.
Remove the protection fi lm from both sides of the new visor. Place the one end of
the visor into the side retaining lips and over the hook. On the opposite side align
the tab over the hook. First press the top and bottom corners into the edge retaining
lips then press the tab until it click into the hook of the helmet shell.
Replacing the Inside Cover Lens
Lift up the middle of the lower edge of the lens fi tted to the ADF unit, it should bow
and slide out of fi lter retaining side clamps.
Remove the protection fi lm from both sides of the new Lens. Place the new lens
onto the back of the ADF slide the one side under the side clamp. Flex the lens so
that it bows and push the opposite edge under the other side clamp then release it.
Clean the lens and visor with a lint-free tissue or cotton cloth. Do not immerse the
lens or visor in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasives, solvents or oil based
cleaners.
Replace the Front Lens Cover if it is cracked, scratched or damaged in any way.
Regularly check if the battery needs replacing by pressing the test button.
Clean fi lter's surfaces regularly. Protect fi lter from contact with any liquid and dirt.
Do not immerse the fi lter in water.
The auto darkening fi lter must never be exposed to or placed on a hot surface.
Do not remove the auto-darkening fi lter from the welding helmet. Do not try to open
the fi lter.
Warranty
The manufacturer provides a warranty of 24 months from invoice date for all
manufacturing defects. The warranty becomes void if not operated according to the
instruction manual. The warranty becomes void if the helmet has been modifi ed in
any way.
