Controls and Features
Motor/Blade Control Handle
The motor/blade control handle is located on the upper handle
of the mower. See Figure 4-1. The motor/blade control handle
engages and disengages the motor and blade.
WARNING:
The motor / blade control handle is a
safety device. Never attempt to bypass its
operations.
Overload Protection Switch
The mower is equipped with a overload protection switch,
located on the motor/blade control. This overload protection
switch may pop out when too much strain is placed on the
motor. Refer to Maintenance & Adjustments Section to reset this
switch.

Cord Restraint
The cord restraint is located on the back of the upper handle and
when used properly, helps to protect the motor/ blade control
and extension cord powering the unit.
Cutting Height Adjustment Lever
The cutting height adjustment lever is located above the left
rear wheel. To adjust the cutting height, refer to the Assembly &
Set-Up Section.
