6.2) Inserting/removing the batteries
The impact wrench is designed to work ONLY with both batteries inserted. The diagnostic system constantly
checks both batteries and halts the operation of the machine when the voltage of one of the batteries falls
below a predetermined threshold.
To insert the batteries (Ref. to Fig. 6):
Lift the rainproof cover (3) to access the battery compartment.
Insert the batteries into the guides and press them all the way down until they latch (G) into place.
Close the cover (3) tightly.
To remove the batteries:
Press the button (P) and slide them out from the top.
After removing or inserting batteries, be sure to replace the rainproof cover. Make sure the
cover fits sideways and covers the battery compartment properly. Improper placement of the
rainproof cover can cause water ingress, resulting in damage to electrical components, motor
and batteries.
6.3) Torque adjustment
The wrench is equipped with a system which allows torque limitation on tightening
and loosening according to the different needs of use.
Press the ON/OFF button (12) to power up the wrench.
Push and turn the selector (10) in one direction or the other to obtain the desired
value on the display. It is advisable to set:
- the tightening phase on low torque settings: 1 - 2 - 3.
- the loosening phase on high torque settings: 3 - 4 - 5.
Press the selector (10) to confirm the choice.
