Before servicing or maintenance the impact wrench always remove batteries.
Daily maintenance is indispensable to keep the machine in best condition. Maintenance not carried out pro-
perly, or carried out by unauthorised or unqualified personnel can noticeably reduce the machine's efficiency
and increase the risk of accidents and serious injury.
The maintenance procedures described at § 9.1 may be carried out by the operator.
For any eventual fine tuning or repairs, return to CEMBRE (Ref. to § 12).
9.1) ORDINARY MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINE
Daily, before use check:
Machine in its entirety (securing of various components).
The correct operation and integrity of the motor switches.
The integrity and charge of the batteries.
Integrity of the four shoch absorbers (15) that fix the handlebar, in case of deformation, cracks or
obvious cuts need to be replaced.
Integrity of the rainproof cover (3) of the battery compartment, it must not show cuts or abrasions, if
damaged must be immediately replaced.
After use:
Clean the machine of any contaminants and swarf by using a clean rag.
Clean the air inlets on the side of the motor if they are clogged.
Take out the batteries and clean the battery compartment.
9.1.1) Checking screws (every 5 hours of operation)
Check and re-tighten all screws where necessary.
9.1.2) General verification (every 60 hours of operation)
Check all functions of the machine
9.2) EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
9.2.1) Checking the impact unit
The impact striker and anvil are subject to wear. Should a noticable loss of torque be detected over intense
and/or prolonged operation, check these components for wear.
9.2.2) Changing grease in the impact unit (at least once a year)
Under normal operating conditions, replace the grease in the unit at least once a year, to maintain effi-
ciency and performance.

CEMBRE.
