HOW TO CHARGE, USE AND STORE BATTERIES

1. To charge permanently installed batteries, connect the device to the correct
power supply. Please note that the charging function cannot be deactivated by
the device main switch on all devices.
2. The charging time for a full charge of the battery can be found in the technical
data. For information on how to display the battery charge status, see chapter
OPERATION.
3. Devices with lithium batteries are equipped with the usual protective features.
4. Do not charge the battery outside the ambient conditions specified in the techni-
cal data. Unless otherwise specified, these are between +5° and +35° Celsius in
dry environments.
5. The permissible ambient conditions for operation can be found in the technical
data. Unless otherwise specified, these must not be below +5°C or above +35°C
in dry environments.
6. The permissible ambient temperature for storage can be found in the technical
data. Unless otherwise specified, these must not be below +5°C or above +35°C
in dry environments.
7. Fully recharge the battery soon after discharge.
8. Only store the device with a fully charged battery. Batteries that are not fully
charged may lose capacity and service life prematurely.
9. If the device is not to be used for a longer period of time, perform a full discharge
and charge cycle no later than every 3 months.
10. The appliance's main switch must be switched off during storage.
11. The specified battery operating times always refer to a new battery and normal
operating conditions.
12. • In cold environments, battery life may be shorter than stated.
13. If the operating time of the device in battery operation deviates significantly from
the specifications, please contact your distribution partner.
