► Insert the mains plug (7) in a convenient wall outlet (8).
The charger (2) runs a self test. The LED "A" (9) emits
green light for about 1 second and then red for about
1 second.
► Fit the connecting cable (6).
► Connect the battery (1) to the adapter (3, 4 or 5).
The LED "A" (9) emits green light. The battery (1) is being
charged.
► If the LED "B" (10) lights up green: The battery (1) is
charged and can be disconnected from the adapter (3, 4
or 5). The battery (1) can be used in the STIHL robotic
mower or for software updates.
► If the charging process continues in the charger (2) and
the LED "A" (9) no longer lights up: The battery (1) is fully
charged and can be disconnected from the adapter (3, 4
or 5).
► If the charger (2) is no longer required. Disconnect the
mains plug (7) from the wall outlet (8).

LED "A" (1) indicates the status of the battery and charger
or faults. The LED "A" (1) can emit green or red light or flash
red. LED "B" (2) indicates the status for using the battery.
The LED "B" (2) can emit green light.
If the LED "A" (1) emits green light, the battery is being
charged.
If the LED "A" (1) is no longer lit, the battery is fully charged.
If the LED "A" (1) emits red light, the battery is waiting to be
charged.
► If the LED "A" (1) flashes red: Rectify the malfunctions.
There is a malfunction in the battery or charger.
If the LED "B" (2) does not light up, the battery charge level
is too low. The battery cannot be used.
If LED "B" (2) is green, the battery is sufficiently charged and
can be used in the STIHL robotic mower or for software
updates.
8 Transporting
8.1
Transport
► Disconnect the mains plug from the power supply.
► Disconnect the battery.
► Transport the charger in the case supplied.
► Transporting the charger in a vehicle: Secure the case to
prevent it from turning over and moving.
