2. BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION
Anyone who works with the product must have familiarised themselves with the contents
of the operating instructions.
 It is forbidden to walk under suspended loads! The operating area must
therefore not be entered when loads are suspended!
 Loads may only be lifted and positioned vertically. Diagonal lifting is prohib-
ited.
 Access to the danger zone must be prevented as far as possible. Use only
specified traffic areas.
 The traffic areas must always be kept free.
 Observe the behaviour of the loads and interrupt transport immediately if
there are signs of slipping.
 Do not overload load handling devices. Before transport, make sure that the
weight can be taken up by the lifting equipment.
 Heed the load diagram of the crane.
 Assign transportation only to specially trained staff.
 Never carry passengers with the load or the load handling devices.
 Inspect the integrity of the crane traverse prior to lifting each load. In case of
damage or corrosion that affects the ability to lift, use is prohibited and the
handling devices must be inspected by a
specialist.
 Inspection by a specialist must be performed at least once a year.

4.1 Construction
The Euro mesh box – crane traverse is constructed as follows:
Robust welded steel construction made of hollow and rolled sections

Centrally positioned stable hanging loops made of steel

2 fixed and 2 movable hooks for attaching the grid box

4.2 Application and Usage
The traverse is used for lifting Euro mesh boxes with a crane.
