5. OPERATION
1. Using the rigid hooks, first hook the transverse below the upper frame of the mesh box
on one side. Then open the movable hooks by pulling up the handle and
hook them to the mesh box.
2. The traverse must be lifted only using lifting loops.
3. The behaviour of the load must be constantly observed.
4. Before each use, visual inspection is to take place. In case of visible damage, the crane
traverse must not be used.
5. Avoid uncontrolled movements. Raise loads slowly, uniformly, and vertically.
6. The operator must ensure that their line of sight is not blocked.
If necessary, a helper must be provided for this.
6. MAINTENANCE

The crane traverse must be checked for damage every year. Furthermore, corrosion must be
repaired using appropriate measures. Welds are to be visually inspected.

The safety devices are to be examined before each use. This includes inspecting slings and
hooks.
7. BEHAVIOUR DURING MALFUNCTIONS
Defects must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
