Código 3, 4, 5 - Lock out para unidades exte-
riores:

especializado.
Montaje envolventes
Suspender los paneles laterales de los pivotes
de centraje (1), situados en los bordes laterales
del bastidor. Ver figura 33.
Fijar los paneles mediante dos tornillos (2), ver
figura 34. Suspender el panel frontal de los pivotes
de centraje (3) y fijarlos mediante dos tornillos
(4) en los orificios anteriores de cada lateral. Ver
figura 33.

Main features

The R-20/2OF Clima generator is a unit that
provides:
– Hot water for the heating circuit.
– lnstant domestic hot water supply.
– Chilled water for the cooling circuit.
The system comprises 3 basic units.
1. Boiler module
Provides heating and domestic hot water. lt is
drawn from the R-20/2OFF boiler.
In this boiler, combustion is independent of the
room where it is located (room-sealed). The air
required for combustion is drawn directly from
outside as the flue gases are removed via an
exhaust fan. No membranes, oil seals or moving
parts which are liable to break down.
Electronic control of all functions.
Control panel with digital screen.
Fully automatic ignition, without pilot flame.
Flame safeguard rectification system.
Selected operating temperature accurate to one
degree with permanent display of current
temperature.
Centril Heating and DHW modulation.
Coded information on anomalies.
Pump lockout protection feature.
High-performance bithermal heat exchanger.
The whole boiler may be dismantled through the
front panel.
Water connections kit with shut-off valves.
By-pass valve incorporated in the boiler.
DHW monitoring by means of a magnetic flow
switch.
Pressure switch for insuff icient combustion air.
Safety feature for insufficient water pressure in
the heating circuit.
2. Chilled Water Heat Exchanger
This is located inside the boiler casing. lt includes
the following components:
– AISI 316 stainless steel plate exchanger
refrigerant / water.
– Cold water circuit pump.
– Expansion vessel.
– Safety valve.
– Air vents.
– Flow rate control differential pressure switch.
– Cold water return temperature sensor.
– Frost protection sensor.
The control devices are built into the main control
panel and include:
– Compressor timer.
– Differential pressure switch control timer.
– Selected control temperature with permanent
display of current temperature.
– Selected frost control cut-out temperature.
– Permanent frost protection feature.
– Coded information on anomalies. 3m Outdoor
Unit (Condensing Unit)
The condensing unit comprises the following
main parts:
– Hermetic compressor (DFO-56-MO, Rotary)
or (AVO-70-MO, Scroll).
– Copper tube & aluminium fin condenser coil.
– High-pressure cut-out.
– Low-pressure cut-out.
– Discharge temperature control thermostat.
– Electronic fault coding module.
– Electronic air pressure cut-out fan speed
control.
Delivery
Gas boiler module
Supplied in four packages. They include:
1 – Boiler unit for use with Natural Gas, and
control panel for HEATING + DHW +
COOLING.
2 – Outer casing with space for cold exchanger
unit.
3 – Jig for site assembly of Boiler + Exchanger
unit combined.
4 – Flue ductwork.
Chilled water unit (Exchanger)
A set is supplied without casing for fitting inside
the boiler module.
Condensing unit
Two models can be supplied:
– DFO-56-MO of 4,600 W nominal
– AVO-70-MO of 6,600 W nominal
They include the compressor and expansion
system with complete refrigerant charge R-22.
Optional accessoty for 2-pipe system
lt permits uniting two circuits of hot and cold water
in a single 2-pipe system for Fan-coils. lt consists
of two check valves for fitting in the hot and cold
water outlet circuits. See Fig. 5.
Protection of the environment
Packing
The packing is made from recyclable material.
lt should be disposed of according to the selective
waste disposal regulations of the local authority.
Disposal of the apparatus
When dismantling the outdoor unit after a long
working life, the ecological recovery of the
components should be done. The refrigerant
circuit is full of HCFC-22 refrigerant which should
be reclaimed and delivered to the manufacturer
of the gas for recycling.
Oil will remain in the hermetic compressor and
so it should be delivered with the sealed circuit.
Transport
The outdoor units should always be transported
in a vertical position to prevent oil leaking from
the compressor.
lf for any reason this position h a s t o b e changed,
it should be only for the strictest time necessary.
Warning signs
The following signs warn of the existence of
potentially dangerous conditions for the user or
service personnel.
Whenever they are found in the apparatus, the
warning given should always be heeded.
Risk or danger of electric shock.
Obligatory, read the instructions before
handling.
Unit is remotely controlled and may start
without warning. Two minutes before
gaining access to the interior, the power
supply should be switched OFF.
Fan in movement.
Do not touch hot surfaces.
Possible escape of gases through impro-
per handling.
Electrical installation
Established national regulations must be
observed. The electrical connections will be done
in the corresponding terminal strip and with the
earth line. The minimum cross sectional areas
for mains cables and for interconnection
between units, as well as for automatic circuit
breakers, will be those indicated in the relevant
wiring diagrams (see electrical wiring diagrams).
Boiler Electrical Connection
A female connector is supplied with the boiler.
To connect it, proceed as follows:
Remove the protective cover from the terminal
strip. See Fig. 1 and 2.
Connect the Live lead to terminal 'Ll'.
Conect the Earth lead to the terminal marked
