Troubleshooting
Error description:
Limit value monitoring for current threshold
(20 mA) has triggered.
However, the display of the reading is within the
acceptance region.
Measure/Remedy
1.
Check the actual chlorine concentration
using DPD. If this agrees with the display
on the sensor then the chlorine concen‐
tration was only briefly too high
Check the complete system for
ð
faults (control parameters, size of
actuator, flow, etc.).
2.
If the measured chlorine content is above
the measuring range of the sensor and
does not agree with the display on the
measuring device then
Check the supply voltage on the
ð
sensor. Please especially note the
following when connecting to
external devices: The voltage
source may have failed due to
excessive power consumption.
3.
Check the complete system for faults
(control parameters, size of actuator,
flow, etc.).
Make sure that the chlorine concen‐
ð
tration no longer exceeds the meas‐
uring range.
4.
If the measured ranges are exceeded
often then
Replace the sensor with a sensor
ð
with the correct measuring range.
5.
If the measuring range is only exceeded
rarely then there is a strong suspicion that
the internal voltage source is too low
when connecting external devices

sible at this measuring/control
device. When selecting a suitable
measuring/control device, make
sure that the internal voltage source
complies with the minimum require‐
ments ( 16 - 24 V DC at least
35 mA).
