Play together. Place a few cubes in the holder and ask your partner how many
there are. Repeat and practice to read all in once instead of counting the
cubes one by one. Use the structure for this, for example 7 is 5 red and 2 is
yellow.
In case needed, place the number-cards 0, 5 and 10 to help reading smoothly.

Tell or write a sum, for example '4+2'. Place 4 cubes in one colour and place
2 cubes in another colour. Finish with the correct number-card at the correct
divider. Then check with the checking card (+2). Place the beginning of the
arrow at number 4, the end of the arrow points to divider 6 automatically.
Tip: put the background card in the standard to make it a running track.
࢝ Use both holders to expand the game to 20. Place the number-cards
until 20 in front of the holder. Then show for example that number 3 and
13 look similar, but only the ten is extra. The sum 3+1 looks similar to
13+1.
࢝ Use cards (or make them yourself) with math marks + and =. Create
sums by using the cubes.
࢝ Use sum-cards with plus sums and solve them with the help of the
holder. Verify with the check-cards. Put the background card in the
standard to make it a running track.
࢝ Really skip. Use the several check-cards for support: 'skip +2, as a
grandmother'.
࢝ Create your own background card, replace skipping on a athletics track
for a exiting rope bridge, volcano landscape, etc.
࢝ Play together. Practice with the terms more, less or equal. Place a few
cubes in the holder. Place the other holder in front of it and ask your
partner to put more/less/equal number of cubes. Discuss the amount
together.
࢝ Compare the jumps on the control charts. For example, see that a jump
of 2 and a jump of 3 are the same size as a jump of 5.
