Precautions

> To connect to a power source, carefully follow the
instructions provided in this manual. Unpack the
appliance and check if it has any damage.
> Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report
any possible damage immediately to the place where
you purchased the appliance. In such an event, save
the packaging.
> It is advisable to wait at least four hours before
connecting the appliance to power, in order to allow
the oil to flow back into the compressor.
> There must be adequate air circulation around the
appliance in order to prevent overheating. To ensure
there is sufficient ventilation, follow the installation
instructions.
> Where possible, the back of the product should not
be put too close to a wall; otherwise, components
such as the compressor and the condenser may
overheat. To avoid fire hazards, follow the installation
instructions.
> The appliance must not be situated close to radiators
or a kitchen range.
> Make sure that the power plug will be accessible
once the appliance is installed.
1.9 Service
> Any electrical work required in order for the
appliance to operate should be carried out by a
qualified electrician or other qualified person.
> This product must be serviced by an authorized
Service Center, and only original spare parts must be
used:
1) if the appliance is Frost Free.
2) if the appliance contains a freezer compartment.

2.1 Installing your new appliance
Before using the appliance for the first time, you
should be familiar with the following information.
2.2 Appliance ventilation
Note
In order to improve the energy efficiency of
the cooling system, it is necessary to maintain
good ventilation around the appliance in
order for heat to dissipate. For this reason,
sufficient clearance should be left around the
refrigerator.
It is advisable to leave a 2" clearance at the back of the
appliance, at least 1" between its top and the ceiling/
other cabinets, at least 1" between its sides and walls/
cabinets and a clear space in front to allow the doors
to open to 115°, as shown in the following diagrams.
