FUNCTIONING
BASIC
To establish communication, light, adjust the volume and select the
same channel on both radios.
ON /OFF
To turn the team turn the switch on / off in the direction of the clock
hands until you can hear a tone.
To turn off the radio, turn on the switch in the opposite clockwise
direction until you hear a click.

Once the radio is on, adjust the volume level by turning the knob on /

Channel selection

Turn the channel selection knob. The team will issue a message (in
English) the selected channel.

Transmission and reception of calls

To transmit hold the PTT button and speak in a normal tone of voice.

The operation LED lights red.
Make sure both radios are within your range * to prevent communica-
tion being cut.
Release the PTT button to receive a ringing tone * Up to 42 km range
under optimal conditions
