To display the remaining time programmed for a heating zone, select it with the corresponding key; its indicator light
remains on while the other one flashes.
7. Safety cut-out
If one or more burners are accidentally left on, the control automatically turns them off after a certain time has
elapsed. The table below indicates the time interval, which depends on the power level setting.

If the safety cut-out has tripped, the symbol "H" is displayed.
To avoid the automatic cut-out being tripped, simply touch the burner selection key or the "+" or "-" keys before
the time runs out.
8 Automatic preheating ( ONLY PIN530)
This function preheats the burner on maximum power in order to bring it rapidly up to the required temperature.
After a given time interval, the power level returns spontaneously to the established setting.
Enabling automatic preheating (Fig 11)
Select the burner concerned by means of the key (2).
Select level 9 by means of the "-" key, then select level 9 with the "+" key. Finally select the required power setting, e.g.
level 6, with the "-" key.
In automatic preheating mode, the display for the burner concerned will alternately show the actual setting ("6") and the
symbol "A".
Example:
Select level 9 to enable automatic preheating with the "+" key. Then bring the level down to 6 using the "-"
key. In this way, the burner will be preheated on full power for 2'30", while the display alternately reads "A"
and "6". After 2'30" the burner will return to the power level 6.

Changing the power level in the automatic preheating phase
1.
The burner involved must be on. The decimal point (6) for the corresponding burner must also be on.
2.
Change the level by means of the "+" and "-" keys.
If the setting is raised, the new preheating time is recalculated taking the time that has already elapsed for the previous
setting into account.
Example: Level 1 is selected, corresponding to a preheating time of 1'.
Thirty seconds later, the setting is raised to 4. On this level, the preheating time is 6'30".
Following this change in setting, the automatic preheating time will last a further 6' (resulting from the
subtraction 6'30" – 30").
Disabling the automatic preheating function
With the symbol "A" showing on the burner display:
The burner concerned must be on.
The decimal point (6) for the burner concerned must also be on.
Touch the "-" key (4) at least 10 seconds after enabling the function.
9. System temperature control (induction)
A temperature sensor situated inside the cooktop's cooling unit constantly measures the temperature of the generator's
electronic circuits.
In the event of these circuits overheating (t=105°C), the system reduces the power of the cooking zone.
If the temperature raise over 120°C, the cooking zone will be switched OFF automatically and the corresponding display
shows the failure code " E - 2 " .
The overheating of the circuits definitely indicates an anomaly and means that the cook top has not been installed
properly, or the openings for air circulation are not large enough
