Operating Instructions
The quick clamping column operates in accordance with the clamping principle, i.e. the greater the
force that is acting on the inner tube, the greater the locking force of the system.
The quick clamping system has the wedge designed as a knurled shaft. This makes it possible to
perform infinitely variable and to-the-millimetre precision work, while the inner tube is extended and
retracted. There are cross holes in the inner tube of the support, so that it is possible to secure the
load against unintended lowering by inserting the accompanying bolt into the quick clamping system at
the nearest hole.
•
use quick clamping column only on a firm and stable base
•
secure the load horizontally!
•
max. load of 500 kg
•
replace inner tube in good time in the event of damage or wear and tear
Use only original replacement parts!
Warning! The quick clamping column can bear 500 kg only
when the load is properly secured at the sides. In the case of
loads which are not secured at the sides, a load of only 125
kg is permissible. The load must always be secured by
pinning the inner tube with the bolt.
